AVG Anti Virus - Free Edition

At home I have always been a user of Norton Anti-virus from Symantec, and to give this product its due it has never let me down. However each year when I renew my subscription I am left with a slightly 'bad taste' by the aggressive way that they attempt to encourage me to upgrade. Basically if your version is not the latest version you are no longer entitled to support although you can still subscribe to the anti-virus updates. I'm a little suspicious about this since parts of the software are upgraded along with the anti-virus updates through out the year anyway. So I decided to try the free edition of AVG Anti-virus from Grisoft.
I read some reviews which suggested that the interface was a bit clunky, but I have been running this for two weeks now and so far I am very impressed by the professional quality of the product. The free edition is limited to non-commercial home use.
